Addressing citizens and stakeholders, the Governor dismissed recent criticisms from opposition voices, describing them as entirely unfounded, unproductive, and incapable of derailing his governance agenda.
Eno made these remarks during a special worship and thanksgiving service held in the state capital. He used the spiritual gathering to restate his administration’s dedication to delivering on its mandate, emphasizing that leadership requires resilience in the face of public scrutiny.
He noted that his government remains fiercely focused on grassroots service delivery and would not lose momentum due to negative commentary.
A major highlight of the Governor’s address was an update on the highly anticipated Ibom Deep Seaport project. Eno assured the congregation that preparatory processes are progressing steadily behind the scenes.
He revealed that the project has secured the critical backing of the Federal Government, which is actively collaborating with the state to ensure its timely advancement.
The Governor specifically commended President Bola Tinubu for his administration’s support toward the seaport project.
He noted that this strategic partnership between the state and federal governments transcends party lines, focusing instead on unlocking the economic potential of Akwa Ibom and the nation at large.
