Uyo, Akwa  Ibom State capital has always had an active night life but with COVID_19 restrictions, the city went to sleep. its street where empty from 8.00pm and its many hangouts and lounges deserted. This was an opportunity for
radio and we grabbed it. So we launched Klubb 1069, starng as a four-hour, virtual clubbing radio show on Fridays and Saturday. We lined up in-house Djays, Uyo’s top Djay’s and artistes and stand-up comedians to recreate and bring night clubbing experience into the homes of our listeners. As listeners hosted virtual hubs, XL106.9FM supported leading hubs with drinks and refreshments like ise-ewu, peppered snail, nkwobi, etc. Today, the show now runs on Fridays from 10.00pm Fridays to 5.00am Saturdays. It is streamed live on Facebook and our other media channels. You can always count of the right combo between VDJ Chop Money, guest DJays and in-house hypeman, DannyP for the best club vibes to get your weekend going.
