The Commissioner of Police in Akwa Ibom State Command, Baba Mohammed Azare, has reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to upholding the rule of law and ensuring full compliance with judicial processes in policing operations.
He made the remarks during a courtesy visit to Justice Ntong Ntong at his residence in Uyo, where he emphasized the importance of strengthening institutional collaboration between the Nigeria Police Force and the judiciary.
According to him, the visit was aimed at enhancing mutual understanding and improving coordination between both institutions in the administration of justice and maintenance of public order.
“The engagement underscored the critical importance of synergy between both institutions in the effective administration of justice and the maintenance of law and order in the State,” CP Azare stated.
He further reiterated the Command’s commitment, saying:
“The Command’s commitment is to upholding the rule of law, respecting judicial processes, and ensuring that policing activities align with constitutional provisions and judicial expectations.”
During the visit, the Commissioner of Police also inspected an ongoing police station construction project in the area. He expressed satisfaction with the level of work done and stressed the importance of infrastructure development in improving operational efficiency and public service delivery.
CP Azare reaffirmed that the Command remains committed to strengthening partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure safety, security, and improved policing across Akwa Ibom State.
