The anticipation for the reality television show, Big Brother Naija (BBNaija), has officially begun as the organizers announced the commencement of auditions for its highly anticipated eleventh season.
In an exciting shift from recent trends, the organizers confirmed via a statement shared on Instagram on Saturday that the selection process will return to a physical format this year.
This move marks a nostalgic comeback to the in-person auditions utilized in the show’s earlier seasons, moving away from the virtual and hybrid screening processes implemented in recent years.
Aspiring housemates have a very narrow window to throw their hats into the ring, with the registration portal opening from May 16 until May 20.
Organizers have explicitly stated that the audition process is completely free and open exclusively to individuals aged 21 and above who possess a valid means of identification.
However, interested applicants are urged to act swiftly, as the organizers noted that slots are strictly limited and the registration portal will close early if the maximum capacity is reached.
Key Audition Details:
- Registration Window: May 16 – May 20
- Age Requirement: 21 years and above (Valid ID required)
- Audition Cost: 100% Free
- Physical Audition Dates: May 22 – May 24
- Locations: Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu
Following the online registration screening, successful applicants will receive confirmation emails granting them access to the physical auditions.
These face-to-face screenings are scheduled to take place concurrently from May 22 to May 24 across three major Nigerian cities: Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu.
This localized approach ensures that talents from different regions of the country have a direct, in-person opportunity to impress the judges and secure a coveted spot in the Big Brother house.
The upcoming season follows a spectacular tenth edition, which concluded on October 5, 2025, when Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as “Imisi,” emerged as the champion after outlasting 28 other housemates to claim the ultimate grand prize.
As the buzz for Season 11 intensifies, the search is officially on for the next breakout reality star.
