President Bola Tinubu arrived at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport early Monday morning to participate in the high-level Africa Forward Summit.

The President’s aircraft touched down at approximately 12:18 a.m. local time, as confirmed by a statement from Presidential Spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga.

Upon arrival, the Nigerian leader was received by a high-powered delegation led by Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, Musalia Mudavadi, alongside Kenya’s High Commissioner to Nigeria, Isaac Parashina, and members of the Nigerian diplomatic mission.

Co-hosted by Kenyan President, William Ruto, and French President Emmanuel Macron, the summit serves as a critical platform for African leaders, global policymakers, and investors to bridge gaps in regional growth.

The forum is designed to tackle pressing issues including economic transformation, digital innovation, and climate resilience.

President Tinubu’s presence underscores Nigeria’s proactive stance on fostering strategic continental partnerships and advancing the “Renewed Hope” agenda through robust international diplomacy and infrastructure growth.

During the proceedings, President Tinubu is scheduled to engage in a series of bilateral and multilateral meetings. These discussions are aimed at reinforcing Nigeria’s leadership role on the continent and securing investment partnerships that align with African-driven solutions for sustainable development.

By prioritizing trade expansion and regional economic cooperation, the administration seeks to position Nigeria as a central pillar in the continent’s journey toward long-term prosperity and collective stability.

The President is accompanied by an extensive delegation of cabinet members, reflecting the multi-sectoral focus of the mission.

Key officials include the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bianca Ojukwu; the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Sen. Abubakar Kyari; and the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola.

Also on the mission are the ministers of Environment, Industry, and Communications, alongside senior diplomats including Nigeria’s Ambassador to France, Ayodele Oke; all of whom will support negotiations regarding climate policy and investment promotion.
